Regulated Facility Visitor Check-In
SecurePoint Visitor
A facility needs a repeatable way to identify a visitor, screen the name, and keep a record of the access decision.
The operational challenge
A facility needs a repeatable way to identify a visitor, screen the name, and keep a record of the access decision.
Example workflow
- A host can pre-register the visitor before arrival.
- The visitor checks in at the lobby or on a kiosk.
- Screening runs against the sanctions sources that organization has enabled.
- A possible match goes to a person for review. Screening does not approve entry by itself.
- Host verification and any other required steps run when that site has configured them.
- A badge is issued only after the site’s required gates are complete.
Records and review steps
- The visit, the screening result, and the review decision can be kept as evidence.
- Visitor audit logs are append-only and use a SHA-256 hash chain for that organization.
- This is lobby check-in. It is not a door-access controller, and it does not certify the facility for ITAR or CMMC.
