Frequently asked questions
Which identity provider does SecurePoint support?
Microsoft Entra ID sign-in is supported. Staff roles are assigned in SecurePoint. Confirm your tenant sign-in and MFA policies during implementation.
How do hosts get notified when a visitor arrives?
Host-arrival notifications use email and optional SMS, subject to setup and recipient preferences. Teams and Slack incoming webhooks support configured screening and adjudication alerts; confirm each required event during your pilot.
Can SecurePoint push events into our own systems?
Outbound webhook delivery is off by default in production. Confirm activation and successful delivery to your receiver before relying on it. An adjudication disposition API is code-built, but its use as a live customer integration remains unverified; review and test that implementation with SecurePoint before planning on it.
Is the screening API open to self-service signup?
No. API access is enabled per organization rather than through public self-service. The endpoints authenticate with an issued key and carry quotas.
