Work on software that has to be right

SecurePoint USA builds compliance screening and access control for organizations that answer to regulators. When our software is wrong, someone gets through a door they should not have, or a payment clears that should have been held.

Open Roles

Customer Operations & Implementation Manager

Remote, United States

Own implementation end to end for customers standing up visitor screening at defense facilities and school business offices.

What you would own

  • Customer onboarding, from signature to the first real check-in at the front desk
  • Site and location setup: kiosks, badge printers, site security profiles, user roles
  • Training front-desk staff, compliance managers, and administrators
  • Support triage, with technical escalation to engineering and commercial escalation to the account owner
  • Rollout tracking, adoption checks, and the follow-up that actually closes the loop
  • Writing the implementation playbook the next hires will run

Who fits

You have run customer implementations before and you write things down. You are comfortable being the only person on the call who knows how the product works, and comfortable saying "I do not know, I will find out today."

Account Manager

Remote, United States

We expect customer relationships to last ten years. Every customer gets one named human who owns the relationship, and the customer should know exactly who to call. This is not a ticket queue.

What you would own

  • A defined book of accounts, with a cross-coverage partner so a vacation never disconnects a customer
  • Knowing why each customer bought, what outcomes they expect, and who every stakeholder is
  • Quarterbacking the company on the customer’s behalf, so they never route themselves between engineering, billing, and compliance
  • Every promise carrying an owner and a date, and becoming visible work
  • Health reviews, renewal preparation well before the renewal, and expansion only where it solves a verified problem

Who fits

You are proactive rather than responsive, you remember what matters to people, and you would rather make the uncomfortable call early than the apologetic one late. Our internal tooling drafts your briefs and follow-ups; it does not talk to your customers, and neither does anyone but you.

Compliance & Screening Operations Analyst

Remote, United States

The human judgment inside the screening product. Possible sanctions matches route to a person, and that person’s recorded reasoning is what a customer hands a regulator to show reasonable care.

What you would own

  • Adjudicating possible matches against OFAC, BIS, EU, UK, and UN lists, with a recorded rationale on every decision
  • Ownership analysis where a party is not listed itself but is controlled by someone who is
  • Watching list freshness and loader health, and chasing the source when a feed goes quiet
  • Turning recurring false positives into matcher improvements instead of into a bigger queue
  • Helping customers read their own evidence packs before an audit, not during one

Who fits

You have worked in sanctions, export control, trade compliance, or financial-crime screening, and you have opinions about false-positive rates. You can explain to a school registrar, in plain English, why a payment is on hold.

Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Remote, United States

A small team and a large surface: screening and adjudication, visitor check-in and kiosks, badge printing, tenant isolation, and the audit trail underneath all of it.

What you would own

  • Features end to end, including what the screen says to the person using it and what happens when it fails at a customer site
  • TypeScript and Next.js on the front, Postgres with row-level tenant isolation underneath
  • Screening pipeline work: matching, ownership traversal, list ingestion, and the queues around them
  • Keeping fail-closed behavior and the append-only audit chain intact while changing things around them

Who fits

You have shipped and operated production software, you test the failure paths, and you are not precious about which part of the stack the problem lives in. Regulated-industry experience is useful and not required; caring whether the answer is actually correct is required.

Solutions Engineer

Remote, United States

The technical voice in front of defense, aerospace, and education buyers, and the person who answers the security questionnaire without overpromising.

What you would own

  • Demonstrating the real product to facility security officers, compliance managers, and IT reviewers
  • Security and procurement review: architecture questions, tenant isolation, data residency, evidence packs
  • Scoping screening API and integration work with prospects, and saying plainly what is not built
  • Feeding what buyers actually ask back into the product and the public documentation

Who fits

You can hold a CMMC or ITAR conversation and an IT-security conversation without conflating them, and you would rather lose a deal than claim a capability that does not exist.

How we work

Fail closed

When screening cannot complete or data is missing, the platform holds rather than letting someone through. Defaults get argued about here, because the default is what ships.

Evidence over assertion

We do not claim a capability the code does not prove. Public copy is checked against the repository by an automated gate, and claims that fail it do not ship.

Direct ownership

You own what you build, including what it says to the person using it and what happens when it goes wrong at a customer site.

None of these quite you?

Write anyway. Tell us what you want to work on. A link to something real beats a cover letter.
