Which Blackbaud product: Blackbaud Education Management, through the SKY API school endpoints. Not Raiser’s Edge NXT, not Tuition Management, not Enrollment Management.
CSV or API: Both. A school administrator authorizes the connection once and imports from Blackbaud directly. CSV upload stays available on every plan for rosters that live elsewhere.
Which fields come across: Students, guardians and tuition payers, with name, date of birth, citizenship, country and the tuition-responsible-signer flag. Those last fields are what let a reviewer clear a common-name match instead of guessing.
How often it syncs: It does not. Import runs when an administrator runs it. Nothing re-reads Blackbaud on its own, so re-import whenever your roster changes. Scheduled sync is not available yet.
Which direction data moves: One way, into SecurePoint. The connection requests read access only and never writes to or deletes anything in your Blackbaud records.
