Getting Started

Use this guide to move from initial configuration to production rollout with predictable validation steps.

Production Launch Checklist

  • Create your production organization and confirm admins can sign in.
  • Configure at least one site and verify timezone/local check-in settings.
  • Enable required check-in controls (photo, ID, NDA/safety prompts) for your policy.
  • Verify SSO and role mapping for admins, hosts, and compliance reviewers.
  • Run non-production check-ins and confirm screening and audit entries are created.
  • Validate report export and evidence download paths before go-live.

Sites and Locations

Site configuration controls local time behavior, host discovery, and policy targeting. Ensure each physical facility has a dedicated site entry before enabling production check-ins.

Recommended validation

Confirm hosts and visitors created at one site do not appear in workflows scoped to unrelated organizations or sites.

Kiosk Check-In Flow

Configure field requirements and legal acceptance rules before deployment. Start with a pilot visitor path and verify document, photo, and screening requirements in one controlled environment.

Operational tip

Keep one fallback check-in station ready while you validate printing, scanner devices, and network-dependent services.

Go-Live Validation

Before release day, run these checks from your deployment environment:

npm run verify:routes
npm run test

Capture output and store it with your launch notes so support and compliance teams can reference a known-good baseline.

Next: Configure Authentication

Continue with SSO setup and role-based access before enabling broad user onboarding.
